Changed headlights for the first time today.  Once again love living in the future.  I had no idea where to start and thought it'd be too hard for us to do.  Pulled up this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hURsa46t4M  and the steps corrallated so well that it was a piece of cake.  20 minutes later and the new headlights are in. :)  (much brighter too)  We opted to stay away from Xenon or LED lights because we don't want to stand out, but these seem to be just fine.

Also picked up the air compressor today, which will combine with the tire plug kit to keep us going up on the Dempster highway.

We've also officially christened the vehicle, having our friends change their baby in it yesterday.  Some people use Champange, but this works for us.

Bethany is a very meticulous person.  A week ago, she was trying to decide what cloths make the cut for the trip.  This is her jam.

For comparison, my duffle bag has duct tape holding it together.

Shots, Shots, Shots!

We made a visit to our local Travel Clinic today to get hooked up with all our meds and immunizations. We both got Hep A, Typhoid, and will be going in next week to get Yellow Fever. I also got Tetanus and a Pneumonia vaccine. Ike started his Hep B series. The doc prescribed 6 months of malaria meds, Cipro for traveler's diarrhea, and meds for altitude sickness. Thanks doc!

She also recommended a rabies vaccine, but is pretty expensive and only buys you an extra day to get medical treatment if bitten. We are considering this and asking other travelers for their advice.
